personality. in short, bramblestar is a no nonsense sort of guy. and by saying this, i mean mostly no nonsense. most cats have a soft spot for kits, and even the sharp-tongued tom cat fosters one of his own. other than that, though, the leader hardly ever lets anything fly. once you're on his radar, it can be very, very hard to get off of it. safety is something bramblestar is huge on, and if anyone does something to jeopardize the safety of his clan? well, there's this thing called punishment. and bramblethorn hardly ever hesitates to punish those who have done wrong, unless of course they're under six moons. even then, though, he can still be strict.

the dark tabby tom cat considers himself pretty soft-spoken, only really going out of his comfort zone should there be dire need for him to do so. he isn't socially awkward, per se, but he isn't exactly the best with social interactions. most of his time is spent organizing things for the clan, and making sure the other clans don't just come in and attack them. that, and his duties as leader, doesn't really allow for the best social life. of course, bramblestar doesn't really care. very stolid both inside and out, the tabby hardly ever shows any emotion to strangers, and wears a very blank expression on his face most of the time. well, it's more strict than blank, and most younger cats avoid him for fear he'll punish them.

but most tend to think he's all bark and no bite, which can be true half of the time. eventually he hopes to take a mate, but his main focus will always be the safety and well-being of his clan. on top of all this, he really doesn't take trash from anyone, and is always waiting with a retort or nasty comment in the face of disrespect or laziness. like him or not, he's bramblestar, and he has no intentions of changing himself for anyone, no matter how many dawn patrols they offer to do for him.
