Short description: A fluffy white tom with striking blue eyes.
Physical Description: Frostnose takes after his mother in many ways. He has stunning river-blue eyes that are easily recognizable from a distance. He is a larger tom which is about the only physical trait he gained from his father.
His pelt is snow white and quite long, again like a twin Featherfall. She named him Frost for the paleness of his coat and the beauty she saw in the Leaf-Bare snow. His fur is also fairly long year-round and while it can get a bit unbearable in the Sun-high heat, he has managed to find ways of dealing with it. He is far more of a hunter then a fighter which is a non-physical trait he gained from both parents. As such, his claws are kept longer then others to ensure a quick and even kill. He was named nose for his skill in hunting and tracking prey through the sometimes difficult marshy terrain and he is known for holding hunting contests with fellow Clanmates when it comes to size and quantity of prey.
Personality: Frostnose is a proud warrior and he loves what he does as a wild cat. He is the slightest bit of vein but let's face it, what long-haired cat isn't at least a little bit obsessed with their fur? In the end, he's pretty sure StarClan specifically chose him to be awesome. Pretty sure humble isn't in his vocab. But he is also a sweet and gentle creature. he has an incredible large soft spot for creatures smaller or younger then him and he takes on a parenting role to any kit without a family.
He is incredibly loyal, both to his Clan and his family. He would do anything to protect his brother Brairshade and despite the fact that they are the same age and Frostnose is the one with the physical disability, he thinks of Brairshade as younger and therefore, his protective instincts kick in. Because they spent so much time together when they were younger, Frostnose has a way of reading his mind and speaking for him. Many cats would believe them to be telepathic and quite creepy.
History: Frostnose was born as Frostkit, like all others. He was the bigger of the pair born and instantly took a protective role over his 'younger' brother. Brairkit and Frostkit spent every waking minute of every day together. They gained their apprentice names together and their mentors and were off to train as a pair. As they grew older, their companionship only strengthened by Brairpaw's reserved and shy nature. Frostpaw began to speak for him, even to his own mentor and parents. Soon, it seemed as though Frostpaw could read his brother's mind!
Around the time when the pair were to become warriors, a horrible bought of Greencough spread through camp and Frostpaw was hit hard. He was on the verge of death and everyone looked on with fear for you almost-warrior. Frostpaw tried to pull himself from the den long enough to watch his brother be named Briarshade before being rushed back into his recovery den. Frostpaw himself made it through the epidemic but was left far weaker then he had been. He can't seem to run as long as he had before and his heart is not as strong. But two moons after his brother, Frostpaw was named Frostnose and sent on his way to the vigil.
On WiTF
Frostnose spent a few moons just getting to be a warrior. He followed as his leader and deputy told him and worked hard to keep ShadowClan strong. But when all hell broke loose and everycat needed to take sides, he found himself torn between his own desires and those of his brother. Over the moons Frostnose and Brairshade began to grow a part.
When Frostnose's father became deputy, the white tom realized that there was chance again for ShadowClan to become strong and noble. Days later when Thicketstar was named leader, Frostnose both grieved for Cloverstar and rejoiced for Thicketstar.
In the last moon of Cloverstar's reign, Frostnose was granted with an apprentice - his younger brother and the bane of all his existence; Sedgepaw. The two have been at odds and Frostnose is mighty peeved with Thicketsar for not changing their pairing.
A few moons ago, Frostnose was on a stroll near the Twoleg Place where he met and instantly fell in love with a gorgeous (albeit young) she-cat. Her name was Rosalie and he has taught her how to break out of her twoleg yard. He has also shown her parts of his territory and taught her much about the world beyond her fence. While he hopes desperately that she will leave her twolegs behind he knows that it is a decision that she must make for herself.
