about me

the name is alessia, though you may know me as gilligan (from my favourite amerian tv show, gilligan's island)! i was born in the gorgeous country of italy, though i reside in the midwest of the big ole u s of a. i am an avid reader. i also love drawing, coding, and other nerdy things. i play several instruments (the trombone, trumpet, clarinet, and piano to be exact) but i am no longer playing competitively or at shows. it become a hobby that turned into too much of a job and i have lost interest in it to do it regularly like that. i have many animals! i own two fish, gilligan & skipper (yes once again gilligan's island i tell you i love this okay), one domestic short hair, sofia, or as i affectionately call her, sofie. she is the cuddliest kitten! she's just now turning six months old, and yes, i did a naming ceremony for her. if any of you are curious, her apprentice name is pebblepaw. i promise i'm not crazy. i foster a twelve-year-old miniature dachshund named charlie. he's a complete handful, as he has had an abusive past and therefore pees on my fiance's stuff if we don't pick it up and constantly has to have some form of companionship. he generally stays with my mother with my other two dogs (weight limits for apartments suck). i also have zeus, a three year old chocolate lab, and hercules, an eight year old chihuahua/terrier mix who thinks he's a rottweiler. he could fit three chihuahua's under him as well, so he definitely took after his terrier father than his mother. i also own a bearded dragon named izzy (is he a boy, is he a girl, get it?) who is infinitely ancient like i actually don't know how old he is because he's lived like 3 years past his life span i don't think he's ever going to die tbh even tho he never eats anymore?
