* apprentice & mentor rules

for apprentices, all newly made apprentices need to be trained for at least six months before they are allowed to be made warriors. if your make an apprentice above 6 moons, then they still need to be mentored for six complete in character moons. your character is not allowed to be previously apprenticed if they are older than six moons. all apprentices must have at least one of each of the following:

• one thread consisting of hunting training.
• one thread consisting of battle training.
• one thread consisting of an entire territory tour.

they must also have at least one of the following thread choices:

• one border patrol thread (evening or morning).
• one gathering thread (must be invited and participate).
• one chores thread (observing warrior must approve of chosen chore).

for mentors, warriors must have at least one in character apprentice to be eligible for future deputy auditions. this apprentice does not have to graduate (inactive/dead apprentices do qualify towards the apprentice requirement), but a character will be taken more seriously if they have trained an active apprentice to warriorship. mentors must participate in all three threads apprentices are required to. they are not required to be present for the extra apprentice thread. mentors must be present during the assessment thread. a cat may only be eligible to mentor an apprentice if they are older than thirteen moons.
